Fund raising evenings

The year the club will be looking to organise 3 additional fund raising evenings.

1. Cheese and wine - In the last few years these have proved very popular, the evening will be just before the season begins.

2. Poker night - Although the event has been on the cards for the last few years it has not taken place. This year we would hope to get at least 20 players to make it worth while.

3. Question of sport - A new idea from the social comittee chairwoman. The evening will be hosted along the lines of the TV program.

I update you to as when dates are finalised.
If you are interested in any of these events please drop me a mail (dannypillay@gmail.com)

CRICKET FORCE WEEKEND Sat/Sun 5 and 6 April

This event is sponsored by the ECB and is a chance for new and existing players to get together before the season to do some work on the Club and Ground to get everything into shape for the season. I have some 20 tasks to be completed ranging from putting up our outdoor nets to cleaning the chairs we use for our players and visitors.

This is the deal:

A tee shirt, a beer and a bite to eat for all who attend on the Saturday morning.
Sat Morning from 9.30 to 1.00
Sun Afternoon from 2.00 to 5.00

Even if you cannot make one of the weekend dates but think you can do a bit of grafting then I can find some work for you at other times!

Please let Eric know if you can, and then do turn up! It will be much appreciated by Mick Peddle and Eric, as we do most of the work on the ground.
